"Derry" - Oak Spirit - Sterling Silver Pendant
€135.00 Sold out
Cast in sterling silver from an avocado stone carving by Jan Campbell.
Derry is an anglicisation of the Irish word "Doire" which means "Oak Wood." Derry has a small oak leaf resting on his heart and he quietly whispers the name of his tree.
The Oak tree is one of the Nobles of the Woods according to Brehon law. It is the tree of the month of June in the Ogham calendar.
Derry is just under an inch in height.
Each sterling silver piece is hallmarked by the Irish Assay Office, located in Dublin Castle, and is stamped with Jan's unique maker's mark.
Each piece was made and finished with caring hands. Small differences may occur from piece to piece.
A length of black waxed cotton cord is supplied with each pendant.
